We’re welcoming eleven new writers to our team, and celebrating the writers that have been with us all along. Thank you for being a faithful reader. We couldn’t do what we do without you. Get excited for new things coming in January. Meet our writers below. Check out their blogs, follow them on Twitter, and give them a shout. We think you’ll like them as much as we do. Danielle L. Vermeer Danielle L. Vermeer is a social impact consultant by day and blogger on the intersections of marriage, faith, and feminism by night. She and her husband and baby-dog live in the suburbs of Chicago. From the first time we met her we were struck by her brains and ambition. We think you should check out Danielle where she blogs at From Two to One. Dean P. Simmer Dean is a native Michigander, an Anglican deacon, a husband to an opera singer, a high school teacher, a high school IT manager, and a Detroiter. “It’s a lot to unpack” according to Dean but we’re so excited to have him on our team. For more about Dean, visit him at his blog. Diana Trautwein Diana R.G. Trautwein is a retired pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church. She is married to Richard Trautwein — 47 years next month! — and has three grown children, three stupendous children-in-law, and eight grandchildren, ranging in age from 2 to 21. She also acts as a spiritual director and writes twice weekly at her blog called Just Wondering. We love the wisdom and experience she brings to the table. Elizabeth Hudson Elizabeth is a staff writer at National Geographic Magazine and the author of three best-selling books, including Stuck in a Moment: A Year on Tour with U2. Elizabeth divides her time between Charleston, South Carolina and Dublin, Ireland with her wildly attractive musician husband and bloodhound [and since none of that is true in real life (yet) you can visit her real website: Story Wrought]. Elizabeth was the only person brave enough to include her “dream bio” in her application. We like her guts. Grace Biskie Grace is a biracial woman who has lived through abuse, racism, poverty, postpartum depression, parenting, marriage & ministry. She speaks in Churches & on campuses as often as she possibly can and is half-way through a Masters of Divinity at Western Theological Seminary. She’s fun and honest, and she blogs over at Gabbing with Grace. Welcome her to our team! John Crist John Crist is funny. Seriously. If you don’t believe us, check him out for yourself. J.R. Forasteros J.R. is a teaching pastor in Dayton, OH. He loves stories of all kinds, both telling them and hearing them. We were impressed with his heart and his passion. Want to tell him a story? You can visit him at his blog. Leigh Kramer Leigh Kramer is on a quest to live life on purpose. She left life in the Midwest for Nashville, Tennessee with only fried pickles as her comfort, quit [...]
